Mariah Carey, who is going to give birth to a baby this spring, has some other things to hatch as well before the baby. Yes, Carey is launching a lifestyle line featuring jewelry, footwear and fragrance on HSN on November 29.
I am always eager to push my creativity into new directions, and after meeting HSN Inc. chief executive Mindy Grossman, I jumped at the opportunity to develop my own collection of shoes and baubles and enhance my fragrance offering.” said Carey.
In 2007, she launched her first fragrance with Elizabeth Arden, and the process inspired her to think about extending her creative reach.
“From the inception of working with Elizabeth Arden, I wanted the fragrances to represent what I really like,” she said. “It really opened my eyes and opened the doors for me in terms of starting to think about going into other creative ventures.”
Her lifestyle collection includes sparkling, pave-set “initial” pendants, butterfly earrings, fur-trimmed suede boots and quilted nylon boots wrapped in chains. The shoes will be priced from about $69.90 to $199.90, while the jewelry will be available from $39.99 to $199.95. Carey will also offer a new version of her Luscious Pink fragrance, and 25 $275 bottles of her Luscious Pink Deluxe Edition fragrance will feature a Swarovski Elements-encrusted butterfly with a personal note from the singer.

Claudia Schiffer is latest babe to join the list of model cum designer.
During Milan Fashion Week, the German beauty let it slip that she was working on a debut clothing line. Her capsule collection for winter 2011 will be for German knitwear brand Iros von Anim and will feature luxurious cashmere pieces reflecting her own personal style of understated elegance.
Meanwhile, creative fashion designers and catwalk princesses, Kate Moss and Jessica are busy showcasing their fall 2010 collection. Justin Bieber To Launch Scented Accessories

The 16 year old has teamed up with newly formed company Etoile Nation Beauty to introduce fragrance splashed accessories including wristbands and dog tags infused with a unisex fragrance called ‘My World’.

“I smelled part of the day smelling different scents” told Bieber over instant message adding, “They actually brought me a bunch of stuff to smell today,” he said. “One of them smelled too young, too fruity. One was really good.”

As for what type of scent he finds alluring on girls, Bieber said, “I actually like the Britney Spears perfume on girls. It smells good.”

Bieber, his manager Scooter Braun and Universal Music Group, which owns Bieber’s record label Island Records, are partners in the new venture. The fragrance, named after the singer’s current tour, is embedded into a patented resin technology designed to hold the scent for at least one year.

“The resin delivers the scent in a way that is every bit as good as a juice,” said Ferrara, who prior to Etoile was a senior marketing executive at Coty Inc.

The scented accessories are slated to launch in Wal-Mart stores on Black Friday.
